Spring – weekly photo challenge

Spring is all around.    Flowers in every size and color are finding their way into gardens.  Tiny leaves are starting to show their tender green hues.  Even the weeds can be beautiful with their bold colors peaking through the grass.

This beautiful red rose is blooming in my mom’s garden in Miami, Florida – where the seasons blend into each other and spring is seen year round.

Here in North-central Florida these are everywhere.  They adorn alleyways and leafless trees.  They join the azaleas and camelias to bring happiness to an otherwise dreary landscape.  Anyone knows what they’re called?
