Welcome Committee at Ochlockonee River State Park
After a wonderful Christmas with the family, my husband and I went for a little getaway, camping at Ochlockonee River State Park, located in the small town of Sopchoppy, Florida.
Once we entered the park’s gate, we were greeted by this beautiful deer. It’s wide eyes looking directly into mine.
But it was when we arrived at our site that we encountered this most exquisite little creature which I had never seen before: a white squirrel!
And so our adventure was off to a wonderful start.

I haven’t seen a white squirrel before either. It’s adorable! How wonderful to see that and the beautiful deer during the same outing.
